- Designated Central Point of Contact examiner for several large state chartered banks
- Supervisor of the Large Bank Examination Team
- Was responsible for examining state chartered banks with total assets of $1 Billion or more
- Has been responsible for:
- investigating applications for new bank charters
- working with de novo banks during the pre-opening phase to ensure that appropriate policies and procedures were in place

- Curriculum committee chairman and instructor for more than 15 years
- Developed and serveed as instructor/facilitator for the CSBS On-Line training course Fundamentals of IT Examinations

- installing IBM System 36 and AS400 (now iSeries) computer systems in Commissioner’s office
- From 1995 to 1997 served on the Federal interagency committee responsible for
developing and implementing the automated loan review program (ALERT)
and the automated examination preparation program (GENESIS)
