In addition to gaining an inside perspective on a vast assortment of business models, management styles, and operating procedures, has built an extensive network of contacts within the community financial institution industry.
- Specialized in de novo banks for a period of time with Jack Henry & Associates. Worked with banks prior to opening on product design, setting up products on the banking software, general ledger design, regulatory reporting setup such as call report, and a myriad of other tasks associated with opening a new bank. Worked with every de novo bank that contracted with JHA for processing services through all its data centers located across the US for several years.
- Spent several years at JHA providing consulting services to its clients; both in house processing and data center processing clients. Was part of the team responsible for establishing the Intellix Consulting Group, which works with JHA clients to achieve highest and best use of their technology dollars.
- Worked with ProfitStars, a Jack Henry Company, with Margin Maximizer Suite
- and MaxConnect. Margin Maximizer Suite is a loan pricing model. MaxConnect is the interface that imports current account information from core banking systems into Margin Maximizer Suite.
- Worked with Broadway & Seymour, which offered the LIBERTY Banking System to community banks.
- Worked with AMTrust, a full service trust accounting system offered by Broadway & Seymour. AMTrust was used by more than ten of the nation’s largest financial institutions.

- Traditional community banks specializing in small and medium size business clients and consumer markets tied to those businesses. Often these banks have loan portfolios that include a significant number of loans secured by real estate.
- Private and boutique banks. Some of which operate as an entity within a bank but serve specialty markets such as the entertainment industry, legal firms, real estate related industries, etc.
- Non-banks providing banking type services. These include a religious organization responsible for managing the funds of parishes within the diocese, a unit of a major US auto manufacturer that provides loans to its network of dealerships, an agricultural cooperative that offered high-yield deposit instruments to its members, and a business entity of a major US automaker that provides interim funding for mortgage loans and then packages and sells them on the secondary market.

- Internet banks. Worked on the setup of one of the oldest Internet banks still operating.
- Specialty banks. One past client specialized in refund anticipation loans and provided a product that allowed clients without traditional banks accounts to receive direct deposit of their tax refunds in a limited access account.
